The Department of Economics was started since inception of the college in June 1991. The department is one of the major department of the College. PG was Started in 2006. At present department was running B.A., B.Com. & M.A., Research Centre for M. Phil. and Ph.D. with all facilities with well furnished & 18 Research Guide associate with us. The department has well qualified and experienced faculty. Every year department has Published number of research papers by faculty members & research students. The department has pioneered various activities like Educational tour, Economic survey, Economics figure Exhibition, Student’s seminar, Guest lecture, Research Workshop etc.
